J.R. Wood & Associates, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Detective Lieutenant James R. Wood following his retirement from the Michigan State Police after 25 years of service. Our process servers are current and former Michigan State Police Troopers and Michigan Department of Corrections Parole/Probation Officers with the knowledge and expertise to meet all your process service needs. Our support staff has over 50 years of legal, secretarial and paralegal experience. We are a member of the Michigan Court Officers, Deputy Sheriff, and Process Servers Association and currently serve the following counties: Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Eaton, Ionia, Kalamazoo, Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Ottawa, St. Joseph and Van Buren.
Our firm staffs two court officers - Brian J. Wood & Jordan Wood - both appointed in the 59th District Court - Grandville/Walker.
